J. River MEDIA CENTER 10.0 software, a multimedia
application for organizing and playing digital music, photo and
video files, has added internal support for music services to enable
the purchase of downloads and physical CDs. The PC based software
integrates Audiolunchbox.com, a popular music download site, and
CDBaby.com, a service that allows music fans to sample and purchase
physical CDs. Both services offer an extensive catalog of
independent artists.
“Media Center includes all the tools needed for digital music fans
to build and maintain their own collections. Now we have made it
possible for them to access superior music services without having

River. “Users can enjoy content from a selection of services without
being locked into subscriptions or having to jump between multiple
media players to organize and play their music.”

The opt-in music services are presented in a non-intrusive way, and
provide a seamless experience for the Media Center user by playing
